PURIFICATION THERAPIES [PANCHAKARMA]

These are for those who have toxins from previous poor food habits and lifestyle. They include special foods, massage, saunas, emesis, purgation, nasal insufflations and enema. Annual treatments are recommended. They are known as Panchakarma. 

ABHYANGAM

Abhyangam is a vital Ayurvedic practice of oil massage used to restore equanimity to the muscular system and hence an ancient procedure used for relieving pain.

Procedure:

Here lukewarm medicated oils are gently applied over the head (the vertex region, ears, soles, and palms), legs (soles), arms and hands, abdomen and chest, back, hips and belly in an orderly manner. Few drops of oil will be instilled into both the ears. Therapist carries out the procedure over the patient lying on a Droni with gentle pressure and judicious strokes all over the body for atleast 30-45 mins/day. The oil is removed later by wiping with a clean dry cloth or by giving bath in warm water.

Insomnia, Poor vision, Nervous disorders, Lethargy, Strengthening the body, Infertility, Improving child's memory, intelligence and energy.
